We just saw my old truck on the way to delicious Indian dinner.
Mrs. blackcar said I couldn’t follow him and tell him to take off the steps, even though they look dumb.

It’s alway weird seeing cars you used to own. A few years ago I sold my 97 Accord to some one who just lived 10 miles away, I’d see it around town ever few months. I knew it was mine because it’s white, but I painted the hood purple for fun.
Now it’s been sitting at the Auto parts store next to my work for like three weeks. I’ve been so temped to leave a note asking what’s wrong with her. By my estimate she’s got about 230,oo0 miles now maybe more, and some serious rust. So sadly what ever it is most likely isn't worth fixing.

I used to see my 96 Corvette all the time after I traded it for blacktruck. The guy who bought it had to live really close to me, I would see it at least 3 times a week. It always made me sad because I loved that car.
The worst was my 1985 Chevy C1o, I sold it to a buddy who promptly caught the engine bay on fire. I used to see it parked at his apartment complex all the time, it sat there for almost 6 months before he scrapped it.

I love that body style and there seems to be a lot of them still around, which seems weird based on them being basic transportation that got should have been beat to death.
